Khondoker Hamidul Islam, the author of “Living with Purpose: Creating a Meaningful Life through Service and Contribution,” served in Bangladesh with a non-governmental organization to help the underprivileged, he came to understand the value of living with a purpose. He was shocked by the destitution and absence of necessities, but he was also moved by the fortitude and friendliness of the locals. He spent his days conversing with the locals, getting to know them, and working at the field and office levels. The author discovered that they have a natural ability to relate to others and inspire them to take control of their lives. They established themselves as well-liked figure in the neighborhood by planning community gatherings and workshops on issues like education, hygiene, and health. They even persuaded some of the young people to launch a modest enterprise selling handicrafts.
They underwent a significant transformation as a result of this event, and they made the decision to dedicate the rest of their lives to improving society and individuals. I’m on a journey to discover all the different ways we may use our time, abilities, and assets to help others and live more purposeful lives. I intend to share my experiences, perceptions, and advice for leading a more fulfilling life through my blog.
